Compound interest formula introduction notes are attached to this post. You are required to calculate both the balance (using the formula) and the amount of interest paid (balance - principle)

Simple interest

Remember that simple interest relies on your ability to calculate percentage of an amount and that this skill may need to be revised first.
Very few banks offer simple interest loans. Many fixed term account use simple interest.

For the mortgage topic you are required to demonstrate the use and knowledge of spreadsheets
in a test this skill is tested by your ability to write formulas.

Chapter 4 test Monday

Here are the worked solutions from class. Revise surveys, recipes calculations, formula and 3D shape moving. You are allowed calculators so don't forget.

Rates and Ratios

The notes for common multipiers are now on the student get work/notes folder.
Make sure you finish the recipe activity by next week and hand in to the relevant folder so i can start the display of the work.
